The Texas County Sheriff's Department said it was called to Bucyrus, where a man reported a stolen truck and threats against him.

A Texas County deputy was dispatched May 3 regarding a 911 call indicating people were trying to kill a 23-year-old man at a Prairie Road residence at Bucyrus.
