Texas County escaped the long Memorial Day weekend without a single injury-related accident, Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
During the holiday, additional troopers patrolled highways due to the increased holiday traffic.
Two men from Springfield were among seven people killed in crashes statewide. Official statistics from the patrol are expected to be released this week.Â
