The Animal Shelter of Texas County is selling tickets for its annual Lucky Dog Raffle, one of the biggest fundraisers the nonprofit organization conducts each year, in which 52 guns are raffled off in a 52-week period.
Tickets cost $100 apiece and are available at TASTC’s facility on Highway 17 about two miles east of Houston, or by arrangement with shelter representatives. The raffle will begin after 1,000 tickets are sold, and a winner will be announced each week until 52 guns are given away.
TASTC has no government affiliation and exists primarily by way of donations, fundraisers and adoption fees. For more information, call 417-967-2000
