Four persons were injured - three seriously - in a crash Tuesday at Licking.

One person was seriously injured Monday night when a farm tractor and others were struck on U.S. 60 east of Dunn — which set off a chain-reaction accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The driver of the 2007 Kubota farm tractor, Michael D. McLain, 51, was arrested on charges of DWI and driving while revoked. His eastbound tractor was operating slowly on the shoulder and partly in the driving lane.

Separately, a 1990 Jeep driven east by Gerald M. Frisbee, 50, of Cabool, ran into the rear of a 2006 Ford SUV operated by Reva P. McLain, 70, of Cabool, which forced the SUV to strike the tractor. The Jeep overturned in the roadway.

The accident sent Cabool rescue workers, the state patrol and medical personnel to about one mile east of Dunn.

Frisbee, who was not wearing a seat belt, had serious injuries and was taken to the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. Reva McLain had minor injuries, but refused treatment. Michael McLain was taken to the Cabool Police Department after his arrest and held for 12 hours, the patrol said.
