Houston police handled several investigation during the last week.

The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department:

•Justin A. Canfield, 30, of 811 Dooley Street in Houston, was arrested June 12 for having an active Texas County felony warrant for first-degree endangering the welfare of a child. An officer who knew of the warrant arrested Canfield after observing him driving a maroon GMC pickup at about 7:30 p.m. on Ozark Street.

He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $150,000 bond.

•Vikki L. Hebert, 43, of 15104 Hazelton Drive at Licking, was arrested June 14 for having an active Texas County warrant for felony forgery and misdemeanor receiving stolen property. An officer who was aware of the warrant arrested Hebert after observing her driving a white Ford Focus on Spruce Street.

She was taken to the Texas County Jail where she was unable to post $150,000 bond.

•Michael A. Hebert, 36, of 5019 Marquis Road at Summersville, was arrested June 14 for having an active Salem municipal warrant for shoplifting. He was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he posted $100 cash bond and was released.

•Terry W. White, 30, of 16464 Forrest Drive in Houston, was arrested June 6 for having an active Houston municipal warrant for leaving the scene of an accident. An officer who knew of the warrant arrested White after observing him exiting Town and Country Supermarket at about 3 p.m.

He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he posted $100 cash bond and was released.

•Thomas E. Gibson, 49, of 521 Florence Street in Houston, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, failure to register a motor vehicle and no insurance after an officer who knew he had a suspended license observed him pulling a green Kia Sportage into his driveway June 6 at about 8:20 a.m.

The officer made contact with Gibson and smelled alcohol, and field sobriety tests were conducted.

Gibson was taken to the Texas County Jail for a mandatory six-hour hold period.

•Leigh Ann Wright, 51, of 700 South First Street in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after being caught attempting to shoplift at Walmart June 7 at about 2:20 p.m.

She was taken to the Texas County Jail, fingerprinted and released.
