The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department:
•James A. Coats, 38, of 100 Redbud in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly attempting to shoplift several items from Walmart at about 7:15 p.m. May 11.
•Sylvia S. Shrum, 59, of 772 Sommerfield Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for peace disturbance after an incident at a U.S. 63 propane company at about 1 p.m. May 16.
Shrum was cited after allegedly yelling at the company’s office manager, who is her landlord, about issues with a rental property.
