The 1,536-page, hardback book costs $24.99 per copy, plus delivery charges for direct shipping to the buyer.
The Missouri Press Foundation is coordinating publication of the book through an agreement with the Missouri secretary of state’s office.
For more than 100 years, Missouri published the Missouri Official Manual as a hardback book, but discontinued publication after the 2009-2010 edition. A statute passed by the Missouri General Assembly in 2013, allows a not-for-profit organization to return the book to hardback form.
The book contains detailed information on local, state and federal government, as well as stories, essays and pictures that help preserve the state’s heritage.
Copies of the book are expected to be available for delivery in July.
