HHS graduate Caroline Dunn will present a dance performance Aug. 5 in Houston.

Houston resident Caroline Dunn will dance a farewell performance with Dollie Hodge’s Ozark Ballet/Dance Threatre at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the Houston Housing Authority Residence Center.

Dunn will perform with a small ensemble of dancers from ages four through adult. She will also perform a new contemporary solo.

“We are presenting an evening of dance and fellowship to honor this truly outstanding young woman who has graced our classes in her years with us,” Hodge said. “Caroline is a wonderful example of a student who gratefully accepts even the most technically difficult choreography and enjoys the process of perfecting it. Her artistry is exceptional, and she always knows instinctively what I am looking for as the finished product.”

Refreshments and fellowship will follow the short performance. The community is encouraged to attend. It is requested that guests be seated by 6:30 p.m. as the performance will begin promptly at 7 p.m.

Dunn, a 2014 Houston High School graduate, is the daughter of Dr. Tom and Annamarie “Dede” Dunn.

“Her graduation is bittersweet to all of us as she is such a loss to our ballet company,” Hodge said. “But we are thrilled thinking about her future collegiate achievements.”
