The Texas County Dutch Oven Cookers conducted a demonstration last Friday morning at the Houston Farmers Market. During the event, Bob Roach, Jim Eckley and Jim Kidwell cooked up dishes using ingredients provided by Farmers Market vendors, and then gave the food away to dozens of visitors.
Farmers Market board chairman Steve Wilson donated much of the food, including various home-grown meats.
