Geneva H. Hill, 90, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, in Houston.
She was born June 12, 1924, in Beulah, daughter of John Thomas and Ruey Holly Hayes. She and Joe Rogers were married in 1946. She later married Aubrey Hill on Dec. 15, 1966. He passed away March 7, 1986.
She attended school in the Licking area and graduated from Licking High School in 1943.
She worked as a teller many years at The Bank of Houston.
She loved knitting, reading, baking and cooking. Many of her knitting projects were given to family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathryn Lowe; and a brother, Harold Hayes.
Survivors include a daughter, Anita Kolarik of Traverse; Mich.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a brother, Harry Hayes of Salem; and several other family members.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Barbee officiating. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Lawn Cemetery.
