The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department:
•Thomas E. Gibson, 50, of 521 Florence St. in Houston, was arrested July 16 for having an active probation and parole warrant.
An officer made the arrest after making contact with Gibson at the soccer fields on Opportunity Circle in Houston. He was taken to the Texas County Jail and held without bond.
•James D. Waltrip, 27, and Jessica L. Cook, 29, both of Rolla, were each issued citations for stealing under $500 after allegedly attempting to shoplift several items from Walmart at about 7:25 p.m. July 7.
•Theresa L. Villarreal, 47, of 8164 Morton Road, Lot 20, in Houston, was arrested July 15 for having an active Cass County warrant for a seatbelt violation. An officer made the arrest at the Texas County Justice Center and escorted Villarreal into the jail where she posted $10 bond and was released.
