A Sunday, July 13, accident leave a Cabool woman with injuries on Highway 181.

A Cabool woman was injured Sunday morning in a crash south of her hometown on Highway 181, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Arrested was Keven M. Garner, 31, of Cabool, who is charged with DWI, careless and imprudent driving, as well as having no insurance. 

A southbound 2001 Cadillac DeVille driven by Garner, crossed the center line at about 7 a.m. and struck a northbound 2010 Toyota Corolla operated by Susan L. Wood, 62, in the side.

Wood, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance with moderate injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital, said Sgt. George Falterman of the patrol. Garner was not injured. It was not known if he was wearing a seat belt, according to a report.

The Cadillac was totaled. The car had extensive damage. 

Garner was taken to the Texas County Jail and later released, the patrol said.
