The annual Houston High School pig roast and football scrimmage will continue this year under a new group.
The Houston Tiger Booster Club stepped in this week to replace the Houston Quarterback Club, which dissolved due to lack of participation. The quarterback club hosted the event the previous 21 years.
This year’s pig roast begins at 6 p.m. Saturday at Tiger Stadium. The cost is $6 per plate. Food will be available for one hour.
At 7 p.m., the HHS football team will scrimmage for the public.
