Charles E. “Chuck” Sikes was born March 24, 1952, in West Memphis, Ark., the son of Willie Edward Sikes and Mona May (Bolden) Sikes. He departed this Earth on Aug. 3, 2014, unexpectedly at the age of 62 years.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mona Sikes; two brothers, Robert Sikes and Leo Villarreal; and one sister, Donna Sikes.
He left behind Diana Sikes, his wife of 44 years; two sons, Timmy (Nikki) Sikes of Rockford, Ill., and Terry Sikes of Summersville, Mo; two daughters, Tammy Guajardo of Mountain Grove, Mo., and Tonya Vega Garsia of West Plains, Mo.; three brothers, Billy (Betty) Sikes of Houston, Mo., Jesse (Michelle) Villarreal of Licking, Mo., and Andrew (Bobbie) Villarreal of Raymondville, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one due in February of 2015; and many nieces and nephews.
Chuck loved being a brother, father, uncle, and most of all a grandpa. He loved the outdoors, working on cars and fishing. Before retiring to the Summersville area in 2008, Charles worked at Camcar in Rockford, Ill., for 35 years where he had many friends.
He will be missed but not forgotten.
