Texas County Farm Bureau will holds its annual Appreciation Steak Dinner Tuesday at the Houston Community Building on North U.S. 63 at the fairgrounds.
The event begins at 6 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring table service and silverware. Potluck vegetable dishes and desserts are welcome.
There will be door prizes and a silent auction. Any donations will be accepted. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.
Several open seats on the county board will be decided.
Surveys from the statewide publication can be brought. A drawing will be conducted for a year’s membership. Survey comments will be compiled and included in the preparation for next year’s Farm Bureau policies.
