A flu shot schedule has been announced by the Texas County Health Department.

The Texas County Health Department will begin administering flu vaccine on Sept. 22.

Department officials indicate flu vaccine is recommended for anyone over the age of six months. Vaccine will be available at the Houston office on North U.S. 63 Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

The health department’s Cabool office is inside the YMCA and is open on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment necessary.

•Summersville Senior Center, Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 9-11 a.m.

•Houston Senior Center, Thursday, Oct. 2, from 9-11 a.m.

•Cabool Senior Center, Friday, Oct. 3, from 8-10 a.m.

•Roby Community Center, Friday, Oct. 3, from 3-6 p.m.

•Raymondville Community Center, Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

•Licking Senior Center, Thursday, Oct. 16, from 9-11 a.m.
