The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department:

•Paula D. Jordan, 43, of 7517 High Point Drive in Raymondville, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly attempting to shoplift several items from Walmart at about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 3.

•Shawn D. Sharp, 23, of 8302 Fisher Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for peace disturbance after an incident Aug. 5 at the Texas County Division of Family Services office in Houston.

Sharp was cited after DFS workers told an investigating officer he had yelled and cursed at them while demanding to be issued a new EBT card. Two Texas County Sheriff’s Department deputies assisted in the investigation.

•Cera L. Story, 17, of 204 N. Main St. in Mountain Grove, was issued a citation for failure to yield right- of-way after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 12:10 p.m. July 20.

•Ashley R. Collins, 25, of 15271 Simmons Drive at Cabool, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly attempting to shoplift several items from Walmart at about 7:10 p.m. July 26.

•Erin L. Lancaster, 17, of Mill Street, Lot 9, in Houston, was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption after an incident at about 12:45 a.m. July 30.

Lancaster was cited after an officer was dispatched after a man reported hearing a male subject screaming behind his Chestnut Terrace residence. Upon arrival, the officer heard the screaming and made contact with several people who were standing on the front porch of Mill Street, Lot 9.

The group indicated Lancaster and another male were yelling at a spider they had killed. While speaking with the people, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol. 

•Richard S. Mann Jr., 28, address unknown, was issued a citation for second-degree property damage after allegedly kicking and breaking a ceramic flower pot during an incident at a woman’s Oak Crest Drive residence at about 5 p.m. July 28.
