Texas County’s unemployment rate remained unchanged in July, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported.
The figure was 6.8 percent.
The agency said the county’s civilian labor force was 11,479. Total employment was 10,693. Those unemployed stood at 786, down 10 from June.
In south-central Missouri, the average jobless rate was 6.9 percent. Area counties and their unemployment rates: Douglas, 6.6; Howell, 6.4; Shannon, 8.6; and Wright, 6.9.
