Judges with the Missouri Community Betterment program will be in Houston this morning as part of the town’s competition in the annual contest.
The visit begins at 8 a.m. at the Texas County Justice Center meeting room.

•Rutherford Park
A tour of the town is planned with judges from 9 to 10 a.m.
Winners will be announced in October during a statewide conference. Houston is competing against Albany, Bourbon, East Prairie, Louisiana and Steelville.
