Texas County’s treasurer recently was among 111 Missouri county treasurers who attended the recent annual state conference of the Missouri Association of County Treasurers.
Tammy Cantrell attended the annual training this month at the Elms Hotel in Excelsior Springs. She was certified as having completed 20 hours of training as per state statute 54.261. The treasurer’s office operates in accordance with the statutes of Missouri. She said her office is the custodian of all county money, which includes careful accounting of revenues and expenditures and allocation of each to the proper fund.
