The following reports were generated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department:

•A deputy was dispatched at about 2 a.m. Sept. 28 to a Heritage Lane residence at Roby to assist an ambulance crew with a man. Upon arrival, the male told the officer he didn’t need an ambulance.

•A deputy was dispatched at about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26 regarding a burglary at a Highway AB residence near Licking. A 41-year-old man who lives there told the officer he had gone to Walmart at about 2:30 p.m. and when he returned, the door to his house was open and five rifles worth $1,100 had been swiped. There are no suspects.

•At about 8:10 p.m. Sept. 27, an anonymous caller reported hearing gunfire from a fully automatic weapon near the Dogs Bluff river access on Highway 17 west of Houston. An investigating officer reported not hearing any gunfire.

•A deputy was dispatched at about 7 a.m. Sept. 27 regarding a report of a stolen vehicle at a County Line Road residence at Mountain Grove. An 87-year-old man who lives there told the officer a 1982 Chevrolet pickup valued at $2,000 had been swiped from a shed there.

•A woman called at about 11:10 p.m. Sept. 25 to report a fight at a trailer on Arnott Road. Upon arrival, an investigating officer observed that the man and woman involved were already separated. They were advised to remain apart for 12 hours.

•A deputy was dispatched at about 11 a.m. Sept. 26 regarding a report of an alarm sounding at the Midway Sports Bar and Grill on Business U.S. 60 at Mountain Grove. Upon arrival, the officer observed that the establishment was open for business.

The manager stated that the alarm had activated and been disarmed.

•A representative of the Lebanon Police Department called at about 8 p.m. Sept. 13 to request assistance in locating two runaway juveniles who were suspected of being at a Highway 17 residence at Plato. Investigating officers located the kids, took them into custody and turned them over to Laclede County officers at the county line.

•Deputies were dispatched at about 6 p.m. Sept. 19 regarding a report of an OnStar car alarm being activated at a Kelly Road residence at Raymondville. The officers made contact with a man who lives there who stated he had been cleaning his car and didn’t mean to activate the OnStar alert system.

•An officer was dispatched at about 3:30 a.m. Sept 15 regarding a report of a prowler at a Steelman Drive residence at Summersville. A woman who lives there told the officer the suspect was her boyfriend who was hitting the house with a stick. The officer was unable to locate the suspect.

•A deputy was dispatched at about 2:20 a.m. Sept. 20 regarding a report of a prowler at a Brushy Creek Road residence at Houston. A woman who lives there told the officer someone had driven up to her house in the field behind the residence and walked up to the house before leaving. The officer searched the area but was unable to locate a suspect.

•A man called at about 5 p.m. Sept. 22 to ask how to get his girlfriend out of his Arthur Creek Drive residence at Houston. He was advised to get an eviction notice since she had been living there for 30 days.

Deputies were dispatched to the same residence at about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 24 regarding a peace disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers were told everything was OK and they were no longer needed.

•A deputy was dispatched at about 4:30 p.m. Sept. 11 regarding a report of a domestic disturbance at a U.S. 63 residence at Cabool. A 42-year-old woman who lives there told the officer her 43-year-old husband was drunk and being belligerent. She stated she didn’t want to pursue charges.
