A Girl Scout registration kick-off is planned for Saturday, Sept. 13, at Houston’s Westside Park.
The 10 a.m. – noon event also will feature games and prizes.
Since its inception, Girl Scouts has always been an organization that empowers girls to become leaders and provides them with a safe, productive environment in which to develop their leadership skills.
There are five program pathways in which Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland girls may participate. Girl Scouting has evolved to serve the changing needs of girls, so girls can choose to participate in one or all of the program pathways of travel, troop, events, camp or series.
