The following reports were generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Riley L. Weaver, 18, of 7227 Highway 137 at Houston, was issued a citation for third-degree assault after allegedly getting into a fight with another woman at about 11:10 p.m. Sept. 26.
Officers were dispatched to the corner of First and Steffens streets near the Sidestreet Grill and determined after an investigation that Weaver had confronted another 18-year-old woman over an issued related to a man.
•Mika R. Hill, 17, of 18225 Emmett Kelly Road at Houston, was issued a citation for following too closely after a two-vehicle crash at First Street and U.S. 63 at about 5 p.m. Sept. 26.
•Kristopher E. Meskil, 30, and Christine L. Strong, 25, both of 608 Ozark St. in Houston, were each issued citations Sept. 12 for stealing under $500 after allegedly swiping six bags and two boxes of clothing and one bag of books from the loading dock at the Texas County Food Pantry.
An officer reported that a food pantry representative had requested extra patrol in the vicinity of the facility after a rash of thefts. The officer stated that at about 11:30 p.m. a yellow Pontiac Sunfire was observed traveling with its trunk open along the alley between the pantry and Hutcheson Pharmacy.
The officer initiated a traffic stop on U.S. 63 and noticed several containers of clothes in the vehicle’s trunk and back seat. When questioned, Meskil reportedly confessed to swiping the goods.
•Cecelia D. Hettrick, 61, of 9831 Highway AE at Plato, was issued a citation Sept. 27 for operating a vehicle with an expired license plate number.
