William Raymond Crane, 59, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2014, at his home.
He was born Dec. 19, 1954, in St. Louis, son of Bill and Evelyn Bryson Crane Sykes. He married Christene Ann Levan.
He grew up in the Summersville community, graduating from Summersville High School. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, watching football, cold beer and steak, party poker and laughing. He loved being with his family and doing things with them.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Crane.
Survivors include his wife, Christene; five children, Nathan, Chris, Josh, Cassie and Wendi; his mother, Evelyn Crane Sykes; a sister, Andree Havens; two brothers, Billy and Howard; and many other family members and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
