Here is a schedule of activities related to homecoming activities planned by the Houston Alumni Association, Houston High School and other organizations.

Friday, Oct. 3

2 p.m. HHS homecoming parade. Organizers are asking for members of graduating classes ending in “4” and “9” to decorate merchants’ windows with memorabilia.

6:30 p.m. Queen coronation at Tiger Stadium.

7 p.m. Football game against Willow Springs.

Saturday

7-10 a.m. breakfast at the Houston Senior Center on Grand Avenue.

8 a.m. until 4 p.m. event to benefit the Houston School District to create the Tiger Proud Commons Area. Romines Motor Co. Inc. is hosting Drive4UR School, a major annual fundraiser for the school.

2-4 p.m. mixer at Hiett Gymnasium. A short program will begin at 3 p.m. with alumni updates, scholarship reports and honored classes ending in “4” and “9” recognized. There is no charge.

Learn about plans to renovate the Melba Theatre at the mixer. Special T-shirt for the project will be available. Seats also can be purchased.

5 p.m. 1980s street dance in downtown Houston.

Sunday

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Houston Lions Club Fish Fry at the community building at the fairgrounds on North U.S. 63.
