Carl Hunter, 91, of Richland and formerly of Houston, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, in Osage Beach.
He was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Eunice. He and Norma Louise Shelton were married Feb. 14, 1953.
He was the area director for the Missouri Extension Center.
Survivors include his wife, Norma of the home; two daughters, Glenda Winfrey and her husband, Bill, of Richland and Marilyn Farris of Minturn, Colo.; a sister, Aleda Hubbs of Richland, Wash.; four grandchildren, sarah O’Neal and her husband, Josh, Tyson Wifrey and his wife, Lacey, Allison Winfrey and Jordan Winfrey; two great-grandchildren, McKinley Winfrey and Creek Winfrey; and a host of family members and friends.
Services were Tuesday, Oct. 7, at First Baptist Church of Richland with Pastor Bob Lilly officiating. Burial was in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. Services were under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
