Donna Jean Williams Valleroy, 82, passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, at Houston House after a short illness.
She was born Aug. 19, 1932, in Yukon, daughter of John and Glendola McKinney Williams. She and Fred Valleroy were married Sept. 5, 1984. He passed away in 1994.
She accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was nine.
She started work for C.D. Watson and later Jim McKinney. She operated International Harvester for many years until she retired.
She enjoyed reading her bible, gardening, doing crafts and cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Valleroy; an infant sister, Dora; and a brother, Eugene Williams.
Survivors include three sisters, Veneta Martin, Arlene Brill and Dorthy Medlock, two brothers, Charles Williams and Glen Williams; four stepchildren, Barbara Arvidson, Nancy Valleroy Jenkins, Donna Valleroy and Shirley Buntin; and many nieces, nephews and many step-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Evans Funeral Home with Pastor David Barbee officiating. Visitation is 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ozark Cemetery.
