JUDY EVANS

Judy Karen Cantrell Evans, 71, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at her home in Jefferson City.

She was born April 1, 1943, daughter of Johnnie and Vivian Lewis Cantrell. She and Arnold O. Evans were married June 11, 1961.

She was a longtime member of the Licking Church of Christ.

She worked 42 years for Rawlings Sporting Goods. After retiring from Rawlings, she and her husband, Arnold, managed Country Inn Motel for just over 10 years.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a brother, Jimmy Cantrell.

Survivors include a son, Gary of Jefferson City; two grandsons; a great-granddaughter; three brothers, Billy Cantrell of St. James, Kenneth Cantrell of Cabool and Keith Cantrell of Licking; and a host of other family members.

Services were Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Licking Church of Christ with Dave Barnes speaking. Burial was in Licking Cemetery under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
