The Houston Police Department is on pace to investigate record number of cases in 2014. 

The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department:

•An officer investigated a report of theft Sept. 28 at a Highway 17 residence.

The officer stated a man and woman who live there said a JVC car stereo valued at $125 and several articles of clothing with a total value of $475 had been swiped from the woman’s vehicle as it was parked outside the residence. There are no suspects.

•Megan L. Neal, 31, of 302 Mill St. in Houston, was arrested Oct. 1 for having an active Texas County warrant for driving while revoked and a seat belt violation.

Neal was arrested at a relative’s Broadway Street residence and taken to the Texas County Jail, where she was unable to post $100,000 bond.
