Raymond Zeno Wells, 74, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at his home in Licking.
He was born May 4, 1940, in Turtle, son of Zeno Wells and Alberta G. Wofford Wells. He and Joan Beasley were married Nov. 21, 1959.
He attended Highland and Bunker high schools before graduating from Salem High School in 1957.
He accepted Christ as his Savior in 1974. He attended Boone Creek Baptist Church.
He was a truck driver by trade, working for many different companies such as Smith Bros., Rees Trucking, Sam and Carrie Gifford, Eddie Evans, Storm Trucking and several others throughout the years.
He enjoyed farming and the outdoors, riding horses and hanging around the sale barns. He loved kids and enjoyed being with his family.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael; his parents; and a brother, Donald.
Survivors include his wife, Joan of the home; a brother, Carol; and many extended family members.
Graveside service were Thursday, Oct. 23, in Boone Creek Cemetery with Pastor Tim Parker officiating. Services were under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
