Several Houston businesses will hold Christmas open houses Friday and Saturday.
Participating are D&L Florist, Janstiques, Brown Shoe Store/French Hen and Consider The Lilies Vintage Floral Co. The lineup:
•The Lillies Vintage Floral Co. — Refreshments and handmade Christmas décor.
•D&L Florist — Annual voting on decorated Christmas trees, with a penny a vote. Proceeds benefit Hospice of Care. One Christmas tree will be a “Kitchen tree.” The public is encouraged to bring in holiday recipes to hang on the tree and be entered into a drawing for a $50 D&L Florist gift certificate. There will be snacks, in-store specials and grab bags.
•Janstiques and Swirls and Pearls Cupcakes — Vintage Christmas décor and gourmet bakery items.
•Brown Shoe Store/French Hen — holiday specials and a drawing for three $25 gift certificates.
