Military veteran

Danny Keith Hebblethwaite, 66, passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014.

He was born Nov. 6, 1947, in Salem, son of Roy and Eula Sawyer Hebblethwaite.

He graduated from Licking High School in 1965. He served in the Army before becoming disabled.

He loved cars and over the years owned 17 Super Sports. He passed his love of cars to his son, Doug. They recently restored a classic Camaro.

He enjoyed 4-wheelers, poker and NASCAR. He loved his granddaughter, Laken, who he helped get her first car.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Erma King and Norma Day; and a brother, Vern.

Survivors include a son, Doug; a granddaughter; two grandsons; two brothers Bernie and Jerry; and many other family members and friends.

Services were Sunday, Nov. 2, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Devin Keeney and Eric Jones speaking. Burial was in Boone Creek Cemetery.
