FLOSSIE MURRĀ 

Flossie Mae Murr passed away on Nov. 3, 2014, at the age of 98.

She was born Sept. 3, 1916, in Texas County.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lester Murr.

She is survived by her five grandchildren, many loving great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Hartgraves; her mother, Lily Mae Hartgraves; her son, Donald L. Murr; two brothers, John Hartgraves and William Hartgraves; and three sisters, Helen Carmen, Ellen Hartgraves and Delia Graham.

Flossie worked for Brown Shoe Company, H. D. Lee Company and the Forest Service, where she was in charge of housekeeping. Her combined career was over 60 years.

She loved gardening, canning, and cooking. She was a doting mother and grandmother.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services were Friday, Nov. 7, in Pine Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Pitman Funeral Homes of Wentzville.
