The following reports were generated by the Houston Police Department:
•An officer was dispatched at about 1 a.m. Nov. 15 regarding a report of a 911 hang-up call at a Hawthorn Street residence.
After an investigation, the officer determined a 27-year-old man had punched a 35-year-old woman in the face during an argument. The woman told the officer she wished to press charges, and a probable cause statement was sent to the county prosecutor seeking an assault charge.
•James E. R. Burris, 22, of 225 Fredrick St. in Houston, was issued a citation Nov. 15 for improper vehicle registration.
•Carla L. Selby, 29, of 5750 Highway 63 in Houston, was cited Nov. 14 for driving without a valid driver’s license.
•Franklin T. Foster, 22, of 16125 Forrest Drive in Houston, was cited Nov. 16 for operating a motor vehicle with expired license plates.
•Robin L. Hayes, 49, of 215 Fourth St. in Houston, was arrested Nov. 5 for having an active Texas County warrant for failure to register a motor vehicle. An officer made the arrest at Hayes’ residence and took her to the Texas County Jail, where she posted $155.50 bond and was released.
•An officer on Oct. 29 responded to a report of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at a Florence Street residence.
After an investigation, the officer sent probable cause statements to the county prosecutor seeking felony charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia against three residents of the home – a 38-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman.
•Shannon L. Cross, 31, of 6589 Cedar Lane in Houston, was issued a citation for second-degree property damage after he allegedly kicked in the door and punched a wood stove’s exhaust pipe during a dispute with a woman at a Dooley Street residence.
•Two Raymondville residents were issued citations for stealing under $500 after allegedly attempting to shoplift from the Houston Walmart.
Cited were Colton R. Christopher, 20, and Alexandra A. Caldwell, both of 8565 Possum Trot Road.
