The Houston Police Department handled several investigations during the last week.

The following reports were generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Eddie F. L. Day, 24, of 8164 Morton Road, Lot 4, in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly attempting to shoplift a package of boxer shorts from Walmart on Oct. 27.

•Jennifer A. Markunas, 41, of 1312 Cleveland Road in Houston, was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on Holder Drive at about 6:15 p.m. Nov. 1. A routine computer check revealed that Markunas also had an active Texas County warrant for failure to register a motor vehicle and no insurance. She was taken to the Texas County Jail where she posted $286 bond and was released.

•Lisa K. Hayes, 34, of 8861 Hayes Drive in Houston, was issued citations for driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with expired license plates and no insurance after a traffic stop on Grand Avenue at about 10:50 p.m. Oct. 27.

•Christopher S. Willard, 35, of 1122 W. Highway 17, in Houston, was arrested Oct. 29 for having an active Texas County warrant for stealing a motor vehicle and an active warrant for a probation violation.

On officer made the arrest at Walmart after learning Willard was there. A pair of Texas County deputies helped locate Willard in the store. He was apprehended without incident and taken to the Texas County Jail.
