Houston's Christmas parade is Saturday, Dec. 13.

The date for this year’s Houston Christmas parade has been announced. 

The event is Saturday, Dec. 13. The theme is “Christmas at the Cinema.”

This year’s Christmas parade coordinator is Mandy Adey.

Line-up begins at 1 p.m. at the Hiett Gymnasium parking lot. Judging starts at 1:30 p.m.

There will be two categories — religious and non-religious. Entries must have a sign identifying the business/organization, preferably at the front/back of the float, vehicle or walkers for the judges to see. 

Entries must be decorated according to the theme to be entered in the judging contest. 

The deadline to enter is Dec. 10 at the Houston Visitors Center at 501 W. Walnut St. or at the registration site the day of the parade.
