Patricia Marie Gayer Wiest, 37, of Cabool, passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014.

She was born July 27, 1977, in Mansfield, daughter of Louis Orval and Louise Faye Fisher Gayer. She married Jacob Kaltenberger. After he passed away, she and Patrick Wiest were married May 25, 2001.

She lived most of her life in Texas County. She worked at Pizza Hut in Houston before moving to Springfield, where she worked at Olive Garden and met her husband, Patrick. After moving back to Cabool, she worked at Bulls Eye and later Casey’s General Store after its name change. She was an assistant manager until retiring to spend more time with her family and friends.

She loved her family. She enjoyed playing the piano.

She came to know the Lord at the age of 12. On her last Sunday, she played the piano as a substitute at her church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Earl Gayer.

Survivors include her husband, Patrick of Cabool; five children, Dalton, Gabriel and Aleena Kaltenberger, Ivy Wiest and Francheska Wiest; her parents, Orval and Louise Gayer of Cabool; three sisters, Molly Johnson of Independence, Robin Faye McCallister of Cabool and Hannah Ann Sawyer of Hayes, Va.; and many other relatives and friends.

Services were Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at Bethel Bible Church in Elk Creek with Lynn Gayer and Doug Collins officiating. Burial was in the Murphy Cemetery at Simmons under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home.
