Winford Dale Jordan Sr., 74, passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at his home in Success.

He was born April 4, 1940, in Hartshorn, son of Fred Leo and Vina Marie Gale Jordan.

He was a mechanic for many years in Kansas City and was a shade tree mechanic for those who needed his help. He was a woodcutter and loved being in the woods.

He enjoyed barbequing for his family and friends. He loved western television shows and spent many hours watching them when his health failed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Dewayne, Burford, Stanley Leo, Sammy, Rickey; and a daughter, Sheila.

Survivors include his wife, Marney of the home; five children, Dale Jordan Jr. of Success, Perry Jordan of Hartshorn, Patty Schmidt of Syracuse, Leo Jordan of Clarksburg, Christie Koch of Houston; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Jerry Dean Trolinger of Winona, Leona Lucas and Harley Gene Foster of Houston, Judy Jane Trolinger of St. Clair, Betty Lou Busse of Bourbon, Wanda Lackey of Sullivan, Timmy Lovens of West Plains, Connie Louise Adkerson of West Plains and Sharon Kay Callahan of Wentzville; and a host of nephews and nieces.

Services were Saturday, Nov. 1, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Villapiano officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
