Sales tax collections were up in Texas County under the latest monthly distribution by the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The tally from each of three half-cent sales taxes was $92,691, which was up about $1,189 each from the same month a year ago. For the year, the sales taxes have generated about $932,000 on each. In the first 11 months of the year, collections are up about 6.3 percent.
