Both Houston High School basketball teams will spend their holidays playing hoops.
The seventh-seeded Lady Tigers (5-2) beat Mansfield 50-45 in overtime in the opening round of Mountain Grove’s inaugural holiday tournament. They will play No. 2 Plato at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Tigers (2-5) are seeded 14th in the Cabool Holiday Tournament and face No. 3 Licking at 6 p.m.
