Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred Saturday night in western Texas County.
A pedestrian was struck on Highway AM and the driver left the scene traveling westbound without stopping, said Tpr. Marty Wiseman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Terry Creed, 35, of Mountain Grove, sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield following the 7:35 p.m. incident.
Assisting Wiseman at the scene was Cpl. Eric Cooper of the patrol.
