The Houston Police Department handled several investigations during the last week.

The following reports were generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Dalton J. Smith, 23, and Cara N. Beezley, 19, both of 725 W. Highway 17 in Houston, were each issued citations for stealing under $500 after allegedly attempting to shoplift six boxes of flea and tick repellant from Walmart at about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 27.

•Bennie L. Thompson, 20, of 5395 Big Creek Road in Yukon, was arrested Nov. 28 for having an active Texas County warrant for third-degree assault. An officer who was aware of the warrant arrested Thompson after observing him in the Walmart parking lot. He was taken to the Texas County Jail.

•David W. Wolfe, 27, of 113 W. Cedar St. in Houston, was arrested Nov. 28 for having active Texas County warrant for possession of an imitation controlled drug and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. An officer who was aware of the warrant made the arrest in the Walmart parking lot. He was taken to the Texas County Jail.

•Eric S. Caswell, 26, of 200 Chestnut St. in Houston, was cited for third-degree assault after allegedly threatening people with a knife in an incident at an Ozark Street residence at about 4 p.m. Nov. 2.
