James Keith Caldwell, 83, of Falcon, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, in Springfield.
He was born Jan. 27, 1931, in Taloga, Okla., son of John W. and Gertrude Dieckman Caldwell. He and Geraldine Roach were married Sept. 2, 1951.
He was a beef cattleman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Bradford Caldwell; an infant daughter, Teresa Caldwell; four brothers, Edwin, Bruce, J.B. and Dean Caldwell; and a son-in-law, Lyle Fenska.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine of the home; a son, John Douglas Caldwell and his wife, Brenna, of Lynchburg; three daughters, Sandra Caldwell Musso of Jefferson City, Jacquelea Caldwell and Sam Hartung of Littleton, Colo., and Sally Ann Caldwell-Fenska of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Dr. Delmar Ray Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and well as a host of family members and friends.
Services were Saturday, Dec. 13, at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church. Burial was in Cedar Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
