A Houston man was arrested late Saturday afternoon following an assault investigation, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Billy J. Minshall, 37, was arrested on charges of first-degree felony assault and armed criminal action, a felony, and held at the Texas County Jail. The patrol said other summonses are pending.
Minshall is already on probation in connection with a 2013 assault. He served 120 days in prison and was later given a five-year probationary term, according to court records.
Bradley M. Culley, 30, of Mountain Grove, was arrested at the same time. He is held in the Texas County on a Wright County misdemeanor warrant charging him with passing bad checks, the patrol said.
