A Plato man was seriously injured Monday night when his vehicle hit an ice patch, traveled off the highway and overturned.
Sgt. George Falterman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said Roy G. McGaha, 41, was traveling southbound on Highway AH two miles south of his hometown when the 10 p.m. accident occurred. McGaha, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Fort Leonard Wood Hospital.
Falterman said McGaha’s vehicle was totaled. He was assisted at the scene by Tpr. T. L. Brown and Tpr. Mark Philpott.
