Richard Alton Wilson. Born Oct. 3, 1944, South Portland, Maine. Resided in Warner Robins, Ga. Deceased Dec. 3, 2014, at Perry, Ga., in Hospice Care

Son of deceased parents, Reginald Stuart Wilson of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Elizabeth Frances Wilson of Houston, Mo.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sarah Elaine (Hensley) Wilson, Warner Robins, Ga.; two daughters, Heather Michelle Hare of Warner Robins, Ga., and Holly Amber Clark of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren, Trevor Mackenzie Hare, Chelsea Mariah Clark and D ’Anthony (Ayden) Bradley; his siblings, James Stuart Wilson of Houston, Mo., Robert Steven Wilson of Hollister, Mo., and Franci Marie Sims of Trout Creek, Utah. James Wilson’s wife Cora Mae Wilson and her children. Nieces: Angela Jane Kramm of Houston, Mo., Tammy LaRue of Lebanon, Mo., and Shelly Marie Garner of Fort Riley, Kan.

Richard will be remembered for his caring nature and humorous attitude. He always had some funny remark to keep the conversations moving. He loved the outdoors and when near any body of water the fishing pole would be used. He spent much time with his grandchildren watching them grow, and he loved his little buddy, Ayden with great passion. He was especially fond of his pets through the years which kept him company while at home. The family will miss him as he is was our “Middle Man” keeping family close, contacted with phone calls, emails and Facebook Friends. Richard went to the Houston, Mo., grade and high school. He worked with his older brother, James, doing yard work for several years.

It is uncertain at this time where his remains will be interned as he has donated his body to science.
