The Houston seventh-grade boys’ basketball team beat Mountain Grove 47-28 last Monday for their first victory of the season.
Kyler Ramsey scored 16 points for the Tigers, who led 16-8 at halftime and outscored the Panthers in three of the four quarters. Clayton Moore added six points.
EIGHTH GRADE: Paydon Dixon scored 13 points and CJ Lee added 10 in the eighth-grade boys’ basketball team’s 47-28 loss last Monday to Mountain Grove.
Houston fell behind 17-4 after the opening quarter and trailed by 16 at the half.
