Dormalea Evans Trolinger Gibson, 74, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at her home in Salem.
She was born Jan. 12, 1940, daughter of
Carlos and Opal Hubbs Evans. She and Floyd Lee Trolinger were married Dec. 26, 1957. She and Warren Gibson were married March 3, 1983. He passed away Feb. 7, 1986.
She was saved and baptized at a young age at Montauk. She loved going “home” to Cedar Grove. She enjoyed going to bluegrass singing and dances with James. They also enjoyed auctions.
She enjoyed doing search and find puzzles. Her greatest enjoyments in life were her times she spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; her parents; and a brother, Eddie Joe.
Survivors include her children, Sue Storm of Licking, Sonia Miner of Oates and Debby Trolinger, Ricky Trolinger, Sheila Welch and Floyd Wayne of Salem; a brother, Wayne of Raymondville; a special friend, Susan Stewart; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Services were Saturday, Jan. 3, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Jo Poulson speaking. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem
