Multiple Houston Rural Fire Department units responded at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday to reports of several fires along Highway B.
The blazes apparently were sparked by a vehicle fire.
The Raymondville Fire Department was later called after fire was reported close to a home at 18475 Highway B. Another fire was at 125 Kelly St.
The vehicle was stopped near U.S. 63 and West Highway 17, authorities said.
