The Houston Police Department handled several investigations during the last week.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Missie J. Collins, 39, of 15416 Highway AA at Bucyrus, was issued citations for driving with a revoked license and displaying plates of another after a traffic stop on Grand Avenue at about 7 p.m. Jan. 2.

An officer made the stop after observing passenger car plates on a Dodge pickup.

•Alvey G. Gale, 54, of 13513 Russell Drive in Cabool, was issued four citations after an investigation of a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 6:30 p.m. Dec. 15. Gale was cited for driving with a revoked license, failure to yield right of way, failure to register a motor vehicle and no insurance. Gale has an extensive criminal history.

•William T. Hebert, 28, of 611 Hawthorn in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly attempting to shoplift a jacket from the Houston Walmart at about 7:45 p.m. Dec. 30. Hebert was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was fingerprinted and released.

•Erin L. Lancaster, 18, of 417 W. Mill St., Lot 9, in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly swiping a tire gauge from a police patrol car Dec. 16.

A reporting officer stated Lancaster stole the item while being transported from the Texas County Jail to municipal court and then taken back to jail.

•Frankie R. Hartman, 38, of 8227 Fisher Drive, Lot 11, in Houston, was issued a citation for driving while intoxicated after two officers conducted an investigation of a two-vehicle accident on Steffens Street at about 2 a.m. Dec. 27. Hartman was taken to the Texas County Jail for a six-hour hold period.

•Kody D. Carter, 19, of 16210 Horseshoe Drive in Houston, was arrested Dec. 26 for having an active Texas County warrant for no insurance. An officer made the arrest while investigating a reported disturbance at Walmart, and Carter was one of the witnesses. He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he posted $170.50 bond and was released.
